how do i get a collar that is adjustable for the pet safe system?

the collar does not have any settings and our dog will go through it if my husband is at the neighbors
our dog will stay in the fence at all times until my husband leaves and goes to the neighbors, no other problems any other time. we have put her on a chain and all kinds of things but she is hard headed when it comes to her daddy.

Well, a stronger shock wont help. You need to train the dog boundaries better.

Start with a door way and teach the dog to not go through until it has you 'ok'

Then work on steps or curbs and don't let the dog go till you ok it

Then pick two trees close together and teach it not to cross the invisible line between them.

Then flag the boundary for the electric fence and teach it to not cross the flags (with NO collar on), then put the collar on and it should never cross even though it wont get shocked

That is what I did with my pup and she was only shocked once when a pup she likes to play with passed by and she ran back really quick. Some dogs with really strong drive will take any amount of pain and will not stop, but if you dog wants to be with you husband that bad it will respond better to boundary training than physical punishment for breaking a boundary.

Training a dog what TO do is always going to work better than training a dog what NOT to do.

Teach the dog to stop at the boundary and it will get rewarded will work better than teaching a dog to not cross a boundary or it will get punished
