Should you Invest in a Petsafe Invisible Fence?

what to do with this abused horse?
okay, so I traded my horse for this morgan.. he was abused and extremely underweight.
He is putting weight back on now and i need to start to get him to trust me. I went up to the fence today and he actually walked up to me and kinda sorta let me pet him. I want him to become my riding horse one dan and i know to take it slow... could you tell me some advice and what not to get him to trust me enough to ground work with him lunge himm saddle him etc.

First of all congratulations on taking in a rescue horse!! I just recently adopted a rescue but he wasn't emotional damaged that bad.
The best thing you can do is just be with him, if you don't board him then be the one to bring him food everyday. Something else that will help if you have other horses is to put him in a paddock with an older horse that trusts you and likes you then just set up a chair in the paddock and read most likely your other horse will come up to you and be curious about what you are doing, eventually your new horse will realize that you are OK and he will start to approach you to. Also if he has another being around him that likes you he will warm up to you faster.
One important thing to remember is don't push your relationship don't try to force him to trust you sooner then he is ready no matter how ready you are to train him, any time you push him too far it will take him twice as long to trust you again.
