What kind of job would be tolerant of an alternative hair style/color?
I do not really want to work the rest of my life as a cashier at hot topic or target and i want a steady career.

Anyways I know most of you are going to say ditch the black nail polish and the fishnets grab a suit a degree and get a real job but I can't do that. The reason Im asking in the first place is because I am miserable at my job because I have to pretend to be classy and pretend to like suits and i hate it [im in the accounting dept as an acct. payables clerk.] And I would also much rathar do a career I love regardless of pay than to be making alot of money and being miserable.

I work for an international company and one of the managers in the UK changes her hair color with the seasons, always bright primary colors and wears it in a spiky, punky style. She works directly with our client and is well-respected and liked. I think in today's world you don't necessarily have to conform to the suit-and-tie look. Your attitude, your skills and abilities are often considered more important. As long as your appearance isn't on the offensive side (such as visible tattoos of controversial subject matter, or excessive facial piercings, for example) there are a lot of companies that will accept your look if your skills exceed the norm.
